Our three or four day Essential Verona wine tour gives you the perfect introduction to the city of love and the Veneto region. As well as having time to discover the charming sights of Verona, you will sample a range of regional wines including Amarone, and taste delicious local delicacies. Itinerary

Day One:

• Upon arrival in Verona, check into your preferred room grade at the 4* Hotel Accademia.
• In the afternoon, a tasting session of five Veneto wines will be arranged for you in a traditional bottega.
• The evening will be free for you to do as you please.

Day Two:

• After breakfast, meet your local guide in the city centre for a morning 3.5-hour food and wine walking tour of Verona. You will sample plenty of local delicacies whilst learning about the history and culture of this iconic city.
• You will have some free time for lunch.
• In the afternoon, meet another local driver/guide, who will accompany you on an afternoon wine tour of the Amarone wine region.
• You will enjoy tours and tastings at two different wineries.
• You will be taken back to Verona at the end of the day.
• The evening will then be free for you to do as you please.

Day Three (Optional):

• Today, take part in a 3.5-hour Italian risotto and pasta making cooking class.
• Sample your creations over a convivial lunch.
• The afternoon and evening will be free for you to relax or explore the city independently.

Final Day:

After a leisurely breakfast, check out of the hotel.
