Itinerary

Day One:

• Upon arrival in Florence, check into your chosen hotel.
• We would be pleased to recommend a restaurant and reserve you a table for dinner if required.

Day Two:

• After a leisurely breakfast, the morning will be free for you to explore Florence independently.
• A sunset food tour on foot in the city centre.

Day Three:

After breakfast check out of your hotel. You’ll be met by your English-speaking specialist wine guide at your hotel. Your tour day will comprise of:

• Tours and tastings at two Tuscan wineries in the Chianti vineyards
• An authentic Tuscan lunch at one of the estates.
• Upon arrival in Siena, check into your preferred room grade at the Hotel Athena, ideally located in the centre of the city.

Day Four:

• After a leisurely breakfast, the morning will be free for you to explore Siena.
• Enjoy an early evening tutored tasting session of three local wines with cheeses.
• In the evening, a three course dinner will be served in a premium city centre restaurant, accompanied by local wines.

Day Five:

After breakfast, your driver will return for a second half day transported tour. Your morning tour will comprise of:

• Tours and tastings at two Montepulciano wineries.
• A traditional winery lunch will be served at one of the estates.
• You will be taken back to Siena at the end of the tour.
• The evening is free to relax and we would be pleased to recommend a restaurant and reserve you a table for dinner if required.

Final Day:

After a leisurely breakfast, check out of the hotel.

Perfectly located in the heart of Siena, inside the ancient city walls, Hotel Athena is a perfect Superior grade base from which to explore the town. Within easy walking distance is the Piazza del Campo, the Cathedral and the Torre del Mangia. It costs around 10 Euros to reach the hotel by taxi from the station or for guests arriving by car, complimentary parking is offered on-site.
