Based outside the picturesque town of Treviso, this tour gives you the opportunity to have a taste of the unique Venetian culture whilst enjoying a fantastic introduction to the Prosecco wines and its quaint countryside.

Itinerary

Day One:

• Upon arrival in the region, check into your preferred room grade at the Wine Hotel San Giacomo.
• The remainder of the afternoon and evening will be free for you to relax at the hotel or explore your surroundings independently.
• Spa access has been included as part of the package price.
• The evening will be free for you to do as you please.

Day Two:

After breakfast, you will be met at the hotel by a chauffeured vehicle, which will accompany you throughout the day. Your tour day will comprise of:

• A technical visit followed by two tastings in an authentic Cantina.
• A tour at a second Prosecco winery with a fascinating blind tasting.
• A third visit with tastings at another winery in the heart of the characteristic Prosecco hills.
• A delicious picnic lunch will be served in the Prosecco vineyards.
• A stop at the Osteria senza Oste and the Prosecco vending machine. Please note that if you are travelling on the four day break, we will arrange for you to stop there on day three for logistical reasons.
• After such an enlightening day, a delicious three course Venetian dinner (excluding drinks) will be served in the hotel’s elegant restaurant.

Day Three (Optional):

• After breakfast, a chauffeured vehicle will meet you at the hotel and accompany you throughout the morning.
• Enjoy a tour and tastings at another premium Prosecco estate of the Valdobbiadene area.
• You will then be taken to a local restaurant where a three course lunch paired with wines will be served.
• After being taken back to the hotel, the remainder of the day will be free for you to do as you please. You may wish to enjoy the hotel’s superb spa. Alternatively, you may prefer to wander around Treviso, exploring the shops and boutiques.

Final Day:

After a leisurely breakfast, check out of the hotel.

• Verona is just two hours away from Treviso by train: It takes just two hours to get to Verona from Treviso by train, and many of our guests like to spend a night or two experiencing the delights of the City of Romeo and Juliet.
