Kaziranga, Satpura and Jawai offer a great opportunity to photograph India’s megafauna, especially wild elephants, rhinos, tigers, leopards, sloth bears and hillock gibbons. The habitats in each of these parks /conservatories, are wildly different and provides a fantastic opportunity to photograph these rare species. March is a great time for wildlife safaris, as it is spring, with great temperatures and the forests in different hues of their blooms. The migratory birds are beginning their return migration and thus it is great for birding in Satpura and Kaziranga!

We can add on a Tiger park for those who wish to add that as well. This itinerary is for those who may have already been to tiger parks on previous trips and wish to indulge in the other, lesser known wildlife parks in India.

Entry / VISA Requirements

  • As for all international travel, the visitor to India is required to be in possession of a valid passport and visa. Travellers from all countries need a visa. Enquire about this from the Indian diplomatic Representatives abroad OR apply online at https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/tvoa.html

  • Boarding or immigration can be denied if there is a mismatch of passport details mentioned on the visa letter issued by the Government of India and the passport presented at these checks.

  • The passport has to be valid for a minimum of 6 months AFTER the departure date from India and atleast 2 (two) clear pages available in the passport for immigration stamping.
