Bom Bom Island Resort

The resort is the perfect spot to discover this magical island of Principe. The resort benefits from two beautiful beaches and nestles in between lush rainforest-covered hills. At Bom Bom Island Resort you will find 19 comfortable bungalows, each with en-suite bathroom, air conditioning, satellite TV, safe, mini bar and veranda. Pool view, Garden view, Sea view and Beach front bungalows are available.

Bom Bom Island Resort is the 1st hotel in Africa to be awarded with the "Biosphere Responsible Tourism" certification.

Location

Bom Bom is an islet in the north Coast of Príncipe Island. From São Tomé to Principe Island there are several weekly flights with STP Airways.

Weather

Bom Bom Island Resort is open all year round. On Príncipe Island, the temperatures vary from 23° to 30°C. The rainy season is between October and November and from April to May. During the remaining months the weather is mostly dry and warm.

SEA VIEW

GARDEN VIEW

Diving

In Príncipe island we do not have diving available yet. For people who want to experience diving, we are able to firstly offer a diving trip or lesson at Omali Lodge.

In the other hand, about turtles they can be seen in both islands of São Tomé and Principe. The turtle nesting is from December to mid-March, and the hatching from November to mid-January.

The type of turtles that can be seen are the Leatherback, Hawsbill, Loggerhead & Green turtles.
