Why book with Dive Discovery when there other choices in dive travel companies to choose from? I can offer you my honest answer here. We have been selling dive travel all over the world in some of the most remote regions on the planet for over 11 years now. I, Cindi LaRaia founded the company, and have been diving and traveling around the world since 1985 on my own. I realized I could do a much better job of organizing my travel arrangements than the other companies I worked with in the past. That is how Dive Discovery was born.

I believe in traveling and diving to the areas we sell and sending my staff on location so we are best equipped to offer you true first hand experience with unbiased options and opinions. This is very important in the planning and final decision making process for your beloved once a year holiday! We check out the new live aboard dive boats and resorts that come on the scene as we are very picky on who we choose to represent! There is a standard that must be met for the comfort and safety of our discerning divers and adventures. Since I am an avid u/w & topside photographer, I know what is needed in terms of efficiency and ability in keeping expensive camera and dive gear in safe and easy accessible areas on boats. Proper rinse bins, hangers, charging stations, E6 processing and video display are all very important.

Good quality, healthy food, plenty of water for hydration, safe tender boats, oxygen and first aid trained dive masters and cruise directors. Experienced dive masters with ability to find unique critters for photog's and able to help out with less experienced divers needs.

We learn what our diverse clientele need or desire and work hard to match up the right boat or resort with the right person. Ie, new diver, currents, physical handicaps and comfort zones. Certain boats are easier to handle than others for our sea sick divers, etc. Some people like big action type of diving and some like small critters and pretty reefs!
