Join renowned photographer Amos Nachoum for an unforgettable ICE Safari experience. BigAnimals expedition are all about animal behavior and that one is Epic...Witness and photograph Polar bears, Narwhales and Bow head whales. This ambitious expedition aimed to take place just before the ice start breaking up and as the Polar bears, mother and her cubs roaming the pack ice hunting for seals. As soon as the ice start breaking up the Narwhales by ten and sometimes up to 50 start migrating through as far as the crack go and stall by the ice, at that time we catch up with them following on board the snow mobile only to see the mix of plenty female and few male with the legendary tusk at the surface for superb photo opportunities...what more you can ask for...24 hours sun light - yes you got it tooo...

Itinerary:

Day 1: May 24th: From home town fly to Ottawa, to Iqaluit and connect to Pond Inlet. Meet and greet at the airport. Transportation to hotel. Welcome supper. Q & A. Meeting to discuss project. Gear check and double check.

Day 2: May 25th: Breakfast. Gear check and last minute prep. Lunch. Departure from Pond Inlet by snowmobile and komatik (sled) - see photographs on website. Establishment of base camp on the sea ice. Each client is always given the choice whether they want to share a sleeping tent or have their own. The tents are Everest grade and sleeping on a cot.

Day 3 - 18 : May 26th - June 10:Exploration and filming of floe-edge area. Filming opportunities. Camping. Chance of polar bears, seals, narwhals, belugas, bowhead, birds and walrus.

Day 19: June 11th: Departure from base camp - returning to Pond Inlet. Supper and hotel accommodation.

Day 20: June 12th: Breakfast. Departure from Pond Inlet to Iqaluit to Ottawa.

• International or domestic flights
