Adventure Trekking Tour - Millennium Cave with 4WD

About Tour: About An hour from Luganville town. Jungles walk to the Vunaspef village though the homemade bamboo bridge. Only discovered and created by young man in the Vunaspef village and Santo explorer Glen Russell, the most experienced tour operator in Santo. Explore the dark cave full of bats and sparrows, high ceiling about 50 meters high, 3-4 km long, have splash in the waterfall. Lunch break in the tropical rainforest on the river side, then most amazing experience, swim down the river in the tropical gorge. More bush walk back to Vunaspef village.

Duration: 7 – 8 hours

We will provide you with life jacket & head light.

Note: This tour involve walking in the cave with water running, climbing the huge rocks, swim down the river. This tour will not be fit for the person unfit, who have problem in their heart or person who have problem in their leg. Could be dangerous when rain season due to high water level.
Things to bring – Picnic lunch, Towel, swimwear (wear it before depart), Sun block, snack, Camera in housing or put in the dry bag with towel, hat, walking or running shoes (not slippery one) to get wet, spare clothes to change after return to the village. Full day Adventure Tour - Waterfall & Bush walking

About Tour: About 45 minutes drive to the South Santo, walked to Vunaspef village through bamboo bridge. Walk through the tropical rainforest surrounded by the voice of the birds and tropical trees. Great fun swimming in the pretty waterfall, and walk around, then return back to the Vunaspef village.

Duration: 6 - 7 hours

Things to bring: Towel, swimwear, Insect repellent, Sun block, hat,. snack, walking or trekking shoes (will get wet), camera.

Trekking Tour - Blue Pool Adventure

Just opened up on May 2007 by Vunaspef village.
About half an hour walk from the village, you will see the pool of river where you can swim, jump off wall, then you swim and walk through the river to meet bamboo rudder, you can get on it if you are tired or you don’t like to swim much. Walk and swim three different rivers with different scenery, very pretty in the tropical jungle. One of the river has full of coral and sea shell from long ago…

Duration of the tour: 7 – 8 hours.

Trekking Tour - Port Orly village & Dolphin Rock Climbing

About tour: About one and half hour drive to the quiet fisherman's village "Port Orly" in North East coast, ride small boat to the Dolphin Island, walk to the clear water lake, then climb up for about an hour to the top of the Island called "Dolphin Rock" to see the view of the whole village, and other brown lake, back to the white sand beach for lunch and swim or snorkel in the crystal clear ocean for as long as you like.

Duration of the tour - 7—8 hours.

Things to bring – Towel, swimwear, Sun block, Insect repellant, snack, camera, hat and Trekking or running shoes.

Extreme Trekking Tour - “2 nights Vunaspef Village Life experience & 3 days trekking”

About tour: The best way to experience, and learn Ni-Vanuatu (Vanuatu people) normal way of life, culture & get fitter like they are. Stay at their local hut, sleep on the sleeping bag on their grass weaving mat, eat their local rap rap (Wrapped food in the leaf, then cook on the ground), have cold shower on out yard, experience Kava ceremony (not like normal Kava bar in town), sing along with their string band…. with 3 days trekking. Millennium Cave tour, Blue Pool tour, and Green Adventure tour…

Extreme Trekking Tour - “Marakai Custom Village trekking tour from 3 nights & 4 days”

About tour: You will be transfer to Namoru village in South Santo about an hour from Luganville, there you leave your vehicle, start walk with guides from Namoru village. Walk side of Wylapa River, and swim across the river, headed for high attitude… on the way up, the guide will show you “the rock” which they believe it is “Ark of Noah”, you have a small rest to see how far you walked up… I plan this tours from my own experience, so I know exactly know what I am talking about. There are many villages there for you to stay, I recommend 3 nights 4 days for the minimum stay. 1st nights stay at Tabunbotari village, then 2nd nights at True Custom village “Marakai” (see my article)…then Jarakatui village for your last night… They will welcome you with Kava ceremony, then feed you with their normal meal like Taro & Island cabbage.. they only eat meat on special occasion. They don’t know you are coming to their village until when you get there, unless I can send coconuts telegraph, so don’t expect to receive big feast..

Note: This tour is available for experienced trekkers, require fitness. Involve swimming across the river, mountain climbs. Could be dangerous when rain season due to high water level.

About Tour: About 45 minutes drive from Luganville town, in Fanafo village, there is a village of Pentecost Island. The Chief will invite you to their village, then show you their custom dance with singing and sound of drum, show you the way of making weaving basket, coloring leaves, preparing Kava in their custom way, tasting Kava, show you the meaning of Sand Drawing, and their Nakamal.

Duration of the tour: About 3 hours. Wednesday & Saturday morning only.

Things to bring – Insect repellent, some vatu cash if you wish to purchase their weaving baskets.
