A German Business graduate with a background in computers, Norbert is an obvious candidate to run a liveaboard
company. Having been an enthusiastic diver for more than ten years, his only regret about running the day-to-day business at Genesis for the last four years is that he doesn't get as much time underwater as he would like.
Liana Doyle
Owner/Director / Videographer
Born in England and raised in California, Liana had been a professional chef for more than fifteen years before she realized that she was spending more of her time in the water than in the
kitchen. Leaving her eponymous Bistro at Singapore's Mandarin Oriental, Liana worked as a Divemaster in Malaysia and then joined the Genesis team in 1997 where she is now Cruise Director and
Videographer.
Pascal Laigle
Owner/Cruise Director/Photographer
It may have been Pascal's career in the French navy that first got him interested in the ocean. He tried to hide in the hospitality industry for a number of years, doing duty as Food and Beverage Manager in leading hotels in Singapore and Myanmar (Burma) but, in the end, the sea won.
After a spell as Divemaster in Malaysia, including Sipadan, Pascal joined the Genesis team in 1998 as Divemaster and photographer.
Friedbert (Fritz) Becker
Owner /Director / Master Mariner
After much consideration, Fritz decided that cruising and diving the warm waters of South East Asia was preferable to the excitement of Germany's technology business. He has been a PADI instructor for 13 years and has spent the last 10 years in the dive industry in Thailand. And no - he's not going back to Germany.

... is a very easy one: We always try to be at least one step ahead!
Transforming our boat M/Y Genesis 1 and M/Y Anggun into South East Asia's leading liveaboard was our goal. It was not easy and the way up there was pretty rough and long - but finally a success!
We know that keeping on top of the South East Asia dive scene requires hard work and is not an easy task to master. We are always looking forward to improving our guests happiness. To see happy faces on M/Y Genesis 1 & M/Y Anggun is what we live for.
We also know that our guests have been working hard to fulfill their dream of an exotic liveaboard diving cruise in South East Asia - so we are working hard to make your dream come true!
Of course we also like to have fun! We love diving and the dive sites here are our home. This perfect combination of professional business and good fun makes our life in Thailand enjoyable.
