2 to 10 day programs available
Day 01: Depart Chiang Mai around 8:30 AM and
travel South for around 1.5 hours. Stopping at the local market
along the way. Walk to the Hmong Tribal village (1.5 hours) and
visit the community. Meet the elephants and ride on elephant back
(1 hour) on a forest trail to the elephant camp. Continue by elephant
for one hour to the local Thai village, to stop for lunch. Continue
the drive to a Karen Tribal village and walk to the waterfalls.
Cool off and bathe at the waterfall. Take a fun bamboo river raft
(1.5 hours) down the Mae Wang river. Return to Chiang Mai around
5-6PM

Depart Chiang Mai 9.30am. By truck travel North to the Burmese
(Myanmar) Border, [3.5hrs] stopping for lunch along the way. On foot arrive
to Red Lahu Hill Tribe Village [2hrs]. Overnight stay at Villager's traditional
wooden / Bamboo House.
DAY 2:
Walk following forest trails [approx. 4hrs] arriving at the Rafting
Camp. Relax and swim. Bamboo Rafting in the afternoon[approx.2.5hrs]
Short walk up to visit a Lisu Hill Tribe Village and time for rest and relax. Overnight at a River Camp
DAY 3:
Next morning walk through and explore Caves[approx. 3hrs] Continue on foot to a Karen Hill Tribe Village [approx.4hrs] Overnight at villagers House.
DAY 4:
[optional Elephant riding] Full day's walk through beautiful forest making
our way up to an Akha Hill Tribe Village[approx.4hrs] Lunch Along the way. Pick- up and transfer
by truck to Chiang Mai / Accommodation.
Returning around 5PM.

Depart Chiang Mai 8:30am. By Truck travel North-West to Pai district through
beautiful mountain scenery [3hrs.] Stopping for lunch at Pai. Continue travel to Cave Lod.
Explore Cave Lod on foot [1hr.] Continue on foot [2hrs] up to a Karen Hill-Tribe village.
Overnight at traditional village house.
DAY 2:
Breakfast. Early start for morning walk on forest paths [3hrs] Lunch in the forest.
Continue on foot [3.5hrs.] arriving to Black Lahu village. Overnight at villagers house.
DAY 3:
Early morning start walking in the forest to a Red Lahu village we will visit and have lunch
[3hrs.] Continue in the afternoon to Shan village [2hrs.] Overnight stay at the village.
DAY 4:
Transfer by vehicle to Pai river to travel by Long Tail boat to unique Padong (long neck) Karen
Village. Return by boat to Elephant Camp. Lunch. Elephant riding [1hr.]. Transfer to Chiang Mai by A/con van. . PROGRAM ENDS. " Excellent all round trek + tour to Padong Karen".
Departure 9.30 AM. Returning 5PM

Mae Suai Fang Cultural Walking Trek
Visiting the people of the Akha, Lisu, Lahu and Karen minority groups. Traditional religions of Spirit and Animism beliefs are still practicsed.
Overnight stays at welcoming family homes.
