Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Vientiane and visit the main sites of the city.
Overnight at hotel in Vientiane.
Day 2: Vientiane to Luang Prabang by flight. Full sightseeing in
this ancient capital. Overnight at hotel in Luang Prabang.
Day 3: Visit Pak Ou cave by boat tour on the Mekong River. Continue
on to the holy cave Tamting and the hand weaving at Ban Phanom. Overnight
at hotel in Luang Prabang.
Day 4: Luang Prabang to Vientiane by flight and last minute city
tour. Overnight at hotel in Vientiane.
Day 5: Transfer from hotel for departure to airport or Friendship
Bridge. Overnight at hotel in Vientiane.

Discover Northern Laos (11 days / 10 nights)
Itinerary
11 days of exploration, trekking to minority villages in the mountainous
provinces, river cruises and city tours!
Day 1: Arrive in Vientiane by flight or Friendship Bridge. City
tour of Vientiane City including That Luang, the national shrine with
golden stupa, Wat Prakeo and Monument Anousavari (Vientiane's Arch de
Triumph). Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 2: Vientiane flight to Luang Nam Tha and continue by road to
Muang Sing. Visit the city, local market and surrounding minority villages.
Overnight in Luang Nam Tha.
Day 3: Trekking in Muang Sing.
Day 4: Muang Sing to Luang Nam Tha by road and then to Oudomxay.
En-route visit minority villages. Overnight in Oudomxay.
Day 5: Oudomxay to Phongsali by road. Overnight at Phongsali.
Day 6: Phongsali to Muang Khoa. Excursion by boat along the Mekong
River.
Day 7: Muang Khoa to Muang Ngoy by slow boat visiting minority
villages en-route.
Day 8: Muang Ngoy to Luang Prabang, by slow boat, stopping at Pak
Ou cave. Continue on to Ban Sang Hai, the village of Laos rice whisky
distillation. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 9: Luang Prabang city sightseeing. Enjoy this ancient capital
surrounded by forest covered hills. Overnight in Luang Prabang.
Day 10: Morning visit of the Royal Museum then transfer to airport
for the flight to Vientiane. Overnight in Vientiane.
Day 11: Transfer to airport or Friendship Bridge for departure.

Trekking in Luang Prabang (3 days / 2 nights)
Starting and ending in Luang Prabang for 3 days of minority trekking and
visits to local temples and other sites of interest.
Itinerary
Day 1: Cross the Mekong River to Ban Xieng Man village. Visit the
temples and approximate 2 ½ hour trek through the different plantation
areas to Ban Chane where various pottery is produced. Trek a further 4
hours to Ban Pak Luang village. Visit of cave area. Overnight at Pak Luang
village.
Day 2: One hour boat journey across the Mekong River from Pak Lung
village to Ban Sing to visit the cultural and traditional sights. Continue
with trek to Ban Tapein, Kouang Si waterfall and Ban Long Lao. Overnight
at Long Lao village.
Day 3: Trekking in the Ban Long Laos surroundings. Visit of minority
villages and return to Luang Prabang.
