least developed countries in Asia and is bordered by Thailand, Cambodia,

The capital, Vientiane, is accessible by air from Bangkok and other neighbouring
capitals. While the Friendship Bridge across the Mekong provides road
access from Thailand as does the crossing from Chong Mek in Thailand's
Ubon Ratchathani province to Champasak. Overland entry is also accessible
from Vietnam and China making a scheduled or customised journey an irresistible
experience!
Tourism in Laos is virtually undeveloped so please be prepared for a poor
infrastructure, chalet/bungalow accommodation in the remote areas and
at times a bumpy journey but an exciting adventure!
