Tahiti Aggressor | M/S Paul Gauguin

Tahiti Aggressor

Photos courtesy of Tahiti TourismeTHE TAHITI AGGRESSOR will start operation diving Rangiroa and her surrounding atolls of Arutua, Apataki, Toau, Fakarava & Kaukura September of 2002! This will be the standard Aggressor itinerary with 7nts accommodation and 5.5 days of diving. The Tahiti Aggressor is a 106 ft., 16 passenger catamaran. Eight double staterooms, all with private bath and salon with entertainment center, wet bar, hot tub and partially covered sun deck. All dives are made from the large dive skiff which is lifted to the main level for easy boarding. Nitrox, rental cameras, E6 processing and rental gear and 110volt power are available on board.

DIVING:
Weather permitting, the Tahiti Aggressor dives the passes and channel entrances, or 'corners' of the Tuamotu Atolls. This fast paced, drift diving is for intermediate to advanced divers. A TDI "pass flying" drifting diving certification course will be taught to all divers at the beginning of the week. This hard-card TDI course is included in the charter price.
Tahiti is known for big animal encounters such as mantas, tuna, eagle rays, dolphin, barracuda and lots of SHARKS (black tip, silver tips and Great Hammerheads) Tahiti has healthy hard corals, but NO colorful soft corals.
Aggressor expects to do mostly 4 dives a day, mostly drift dives. No night dives.
