"Hirokawa Maru" 6860 tons, length 172m. Attacked
by American dive bombers and beached on Nov. 14, 1942. Starts
in 3m of water and continues past 50m. Excellent coral growth
and fish life on one of the best wreck dives in the Solomons.
Ruiniu
6500 ton Japanese transport laying upright with depths ranging
from 5m to 50m. Quite intact near the stern with plentiful
fish life.
Bonegi II
"Kinugawa Maru" length 132m, suffering tha same
fate from dive bombers this transport was beached in an attempt
to off load supplies. Part of the wreck is above water making
easy access for snorkellers and good swim throughs for divers.

Previously an island trader, this boat was purposefully sunk
