Red Sea Diving & Land Safari (12-day)
This 12-day sample tour focuses on the diving sites of the shore of the Mediterranean and Red Seas, including 3 countries – Israel, Jordan and Egypt. Combine Red Sea dive sites, unique Mediterranean Ship Wrecks and archeological dive locations. In addition, the tour invites travelers to explore the on-ground treasures of these 3 ancient countries including ancient cities, bustling markets, diverse populations and immense landscapes where past and present meet.
Day #1:
Arrive at Tel Aviv, drive north and tour the ancient Roman port city of Caesarea. In the evening, enjoy the nightlife of Zichron Ya'acov. Overnight in Caesarea.
Day #2:
A two tank dive to the remarkable 2000-year old underwater archeological park in Caesarea. Spend the evening in Tel-Aviv – "The City that Never Sleeps" – as the locals call it, and find out why! Overnight in Caesarea.
Day #3:
Leave early to the bay of Haifa, for a day of shipwrecks. First dive - the Italian flagship submarine "Scire" sunk in 1943, and a second dive on an early 20th century steamboat. Spend the evening strolling the beautifully lit boulevards of Haifa. Overnight in Haifa.
Day #4:
A remarkable cavern dive to the underwater grottoes of "Rosh Hanikra". Our second dive - an Israeli Navy shipwreck. It serves as an underwater memorial site for 12 Israeli Marine Commandos killed in combat. A visit to the ancient fishing town of Akko. Drive to Jerusalem for overnight.
Day #5:
Enjoy the biblical and historical sites of Jerusalem, such as Mount of Olives and the Church of Gethsemane. Tour the neighborhoods Yemin-Moshe, Nachalat Shiv'a and Ben Yehuda. Dinner, a free evening, and overnight in Jerusalem.
Day #6:
Explore the City of David, the Temple Mount, the Western Wall and the Underground Tunnels. Follow the Stations of the Cross to the Holy Sepulcher. Continue to the Jewish and Muslim Quarters, and shop at the oriental bazaar. Dinner at the beautiful village of Ein-Karem. Overnight in Jerusalem.
 
Day #7:
Cross the Judean Desert to Massada, and reach the lowest place on earth – the Dead Sea, to float on the water and spoil your skin. Drive south to Eilat, board a private yacht and cruise the Red Sea for 3 hours, while dining on a rich BBQ dinner, drinks and fun! Overnight in Eilat.
 
Day #8:
Morning dive at the Coral Beach Nature Reserve. Then, swim and dive with dolphins, followed by night dive to end a perfect diving day in the Red Sea. A free evening to enjoy the best nightlife Israel has to offer – Eilat.
 
Day #9:
Cross the border into the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt. Board a yacht to "The Coral Island" and spend the morning diving at this unique island. The second part of our day includes diving the deep wall of Ras-Abu-Galum. Overnight on the yacht.
 
Day #10:
Arrive at the desert town of Dahab (Gold in Arabic), dive the famous "Blue Hole" and the “Canyon”. Drive back to Eilat for overnight.
Day #11:
Cross the border into Jordan and visit the lost city of Petra. Overnight in Eilat.
Day #12:
Fly to Tel-Aviv, and enjoy the entire day in the city. Visit Old Jaffa, Neve-Tsedek, Nachalat Binyamin, Hayarkon St. and more. Drive to the airport – Shalom and goodbye form Israel!
