Shore Diving & Live-aboard Combo (8-day)
This 8-day sample tour focuses on the magnificent diving sites in the eastern shore of the Mediterranean and Red Sea, including 2 countries – Israel and The Sinai Peninsula, Egypt. Combining shore diving and a live-aboard experience, this is a unique opportunity to enjoy the best of both worlds. Explore world-renowned Red Sea dive sites, unique Mediterranean Ship Wrecks and archeological dive locations. In addition, the tour invites travelers to explore Israel’s biblical cities and Sinai’s pristine desert landscapes.
Day #1:
Arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport. Drive to the biblical ancient city of Jerusalem. Explore the City of David, the Temple Mount, the Western Wall and the Underground Tunnels. Follow the Stations of the Cross to the Holy Sepulcher. Continue to the Jewish and Muslim Quarters, and shop at the oriental bazaar. Overnight in Jerusalem.
 
Day #2:
Cross the Judean Desert to Massada – King Herod’s desert fortress, and reach the lowest place on earth – the Dead Sea - float on the water and spoil your skin… Drive south to Eilat, the gateway to the Red Sea. Overnight in Eilat.
Day #3:
First dive at the Coral Beach Nature Reserve. Swim and dive with dolphins, followed by a night dive to end a perfect diving day in the Red Sea. A free evening among the best nightlife Israel has to offer. Overnight in Eilat.
 
Day #4:
Leave Eilat early & cross the border to the Sinai Peninsula, Egypt. Board a yacht to "The Coral Island" and spend the morning diving at this unique island. The second part of our day includes diving at the deep wall of Ras-Abu-Galum. Overnight on yacht.
 
Day #5:
Sail to the desert town of Dahab (gold in Arabic). Dive the famous “Blue Hole” and the “Canyon”. Dive sites include impressive wall diving and its fantastic colorful reef. Overnight on the yacht.
Day #6:
Sail to the Tiran Straits and enjoy a full diving day. Main dive sites include Jackson Reef, Woodhouse Reef, Thomas Reef and Gordon Reef. Strong ocean currents make for high adrenaline drift dives along steep walls. This is also the perfect place for an unexpected encounter with hammerhead sharks. Overnight on the yacht.
Day #7:
Back on the ground… Take a camel or jeep safari deep into the Sinai Mountains, Visit Saint Catherine’s Monastery, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the oldest working Christian monastery in the world. Overnight in Sharm el-Sheikh.
Day #8:
Relax on the shores of Sharm el-Sheikh and go bazaar shopping. Shalom, Ma' Alsalam and goodbye from Israel and Egypt!
