The TreeHouse Village EcoResort is at one with the environment, powered by the tropical sun and located on a golden-sand lagoon fringing the South Pacific Ocean.
You arrive at Kavieng by Air Niugini jet and it's a 20 minute scenic drive along the coastal highway in our 4WD courtesy vehicle to the beach-front located TreeHouse Village EcoResort
The
tropical surroundings will inspire you to appreciate the exotic flora &
fauna, observe the Melanesian village life or just relax and read that book
you planned to do. If you want to get physical there are an eclectic selection
of sporting activities, wilderness
trips or cultural events which are available.
You could pamper yourself with a relaxing aromatherapy
massage in the privacy of your own TreeCottage.
The
first floor of the main TreeHouse is located 6 meters up from the beach, it
has the dining area and bar set in amongst the large knurled limbs of a 200
year old callophyllum tree. On arrival you will be welcomed with a courtesy
drink by our friendly Melanesian staff.
Meals are served in the TreeHouse 1st floor dining room or balcony over looking the resort. You can also have meals served on the beach, in the Haus Wind or delivered to your TreeCottage. Breakfast & lunch is selected from the menu and the evening dinner is your choice from our tropical buffet. Fresh tropical lobster, mangrove crab or deep sea snapper are often available. Most of our fruit & vegetable are grown organically in the village gardens and we shop at the local market daily. We also cater for selective tastes so please advise us in advance if you have preferences.
Note.... the TreeHouse Village EcoResort is not your average resort. It is a experience within your adventure holiday. You will be staying in a traditionally constructed building with private bathroom. Away from town, restaurants, television and cellular phones. The TreeHouse Village EcoResort is more suited to the experienced island traveler or adventurous sporting enthusiasts who are familiar with the remote tropical destinations that Papua New Guinea delivers, along with the exotic.... and sometimes compromising but memorable life-style.
Pidgin is the lingua franca of PNG but most folks around here savi English too.
Availability .... currently we can book you privately, or through your Agent with groups of up to eight persons twin-share or double. We have the private main TreeHouse Suite & Attic and three beach front TreeCottage available for booking. Larger groups can be accommodated on request. Three more beach-front TreeCottages are now being constructed and will be available soon... The TreeHouse Village EcoResort, when completed, will have nine TreeCottages, the Main TreeHouse Suite and the Attic.
Later this year we will have our TreeTops Chalet built on Mt. Poton overlooking the tropical rainforests of the excitingly wild southern coast and beaches. We will advise you later when it is completed and available for booking.
