Boat Description :
The 40 metre S/Y Philippine Siren, our newest and third member of our fleet has been designed and built using the lessons learnt from our previous two sailing yachts. Our biggest boat to date we have been able to make all cabins larger than even those found on the S/Y Siren. We offer more flexibility on whether cabins can be used as twins or double bedded rooms. The dining area is now even more spacious offering a great setting for all your meals. The dive deck has more space and we have improved the facilities for underwater photographers and videographers. With esignated areas for charging and preparation of your camera and video equipment, the S/Y Philippine Siren truly sets out to be the pros choice.

Built on the Indonesian Island of Sulawesi, she is a traditional “gaft rigged Phinisi” handcrafted from ironwood and teak. You will find no other dive liveaboard as beautiful in Philippine waters, and being that she was built by divers for divers and not adapted from being a second hand research vessel, the choice is clear.

Aboard the S/Y Philippine Siren we welcome up to 16 guests aboard each trip. This ensures abundant space for all guests.

Specialized features for Underwater Photographers & Videographers include:

1. Each cabin is fitted with an individual computer and multiple power sources to facilitate the needs of digital photography. The computer features high end specifications and 20” high definition flatscreens, which are integrated with the yachts network server in the saloon.
2. Workstations for the preparation and maintenance of cameras including prep and storage areas

Large rinse tanks with fresh water solely for cameras and videos.

Worldwide Dive and Sail considers safety the preeminent issue aboard our yachts. The S/Y Philippine Siren has been designed and constructed based upon Lloyds Standards, the leading international body of maritime safety standards. Thus aboard our yacht, our crew has been specially trained in all aspects of safety, emergency and evacuation procedures. And our yacht is equipped with the latest safety features including Life Rafts, Life Jackets, Fire Extinguishers, Smoke Alarms, Emergency Long Distance Radios, and Satellite Phones. Aboard the S/Y Philippine Siren guests can be confident in our ability to provide care and safety of the highest standards.

PHILIPPINE DIVE SITE ITINERARIES
The following are sample itineraries for each of our Philippine itineraries. We follow basic and familiar routes through our destinations. However we are flexible to alter a dive route subject to customer request and satisfaction. Plus we endeavour to dive a site when there are no divers from other boats. (Of course, this is not always possible on very popular dive sites). Our flexibility sets us apart from other liveaboards that operate to strict schedules and thus manufacture the diving experience. We take a relaxed, personal yet professional attitude towards our customers by providing them such versatility.

Ultimately, however, whenever we set sail we must have complete respect for the sea. We study weather conditions and ensure we have the latest weather news so we can plan our trips accordingly. In light of this, the Crew Coordinator may re-route the dive trip to ensure the safety of all on board, or to re-plan a more desirable route for diving within the limitations of predicted weather patterns.
