COMPRESSOR

Kararu Dive Voyages utilizes a Lenhardt and Wagner 450 E air Compressor that links directly to a 6 x 50 liter 300 bar (4410 psi) air-bank system that runs only when guests are diving. This system facilitates the diver in two ways : tanks are filled instantly and there is no compressor noise between dives.

The dive-deck has been fitted with a 20 tanks dive station. Each diver has an individual compartment for accessory storage below the tank station. It is the just a matter of sitting into one's dive equipment and stepping onto the waiting tender-boats. However, for those who prefer to gear up on the tender-boat our dive crew will be happy to place the equipment on to the tender-boat.

Kararu Dive Voyages has equipped the vessel with 24 x 12 litre ( 80 cu.ft ) aluminium air tanks. These tanks are visually inspected every six months and the valves are serviced every year by trained technicians.

Full sets of rental equipment are available on request. Underwater lights are available onboard for hire as are dive computers.

Camera workstation / charging stations

An area has been set-aside for underwater photographers. This area is well lit, out of the way of others and has individual lockers for camera accessories. A charging station with 110 / 220 V adaptors has been set-up in the Vessel's interior for battery charging.
