About The Liveaboards

From our home port of Benoa in Bali Kararu Dive Voyages operates two luxury liveaboard dive vessels, the KLM Sea Safari VII and the KLM Cheng Ho. Both of these vessels are traditional Phinisi schooners which have been extensively customized and equipped to comfortably suit long range live aboard scuba diving and underwater photography expeditions in the remotest regions of the Indonesian archipelago. The classic elegance of their solid iron-wood hulls and teak interiors combined with spacious and luxurious air conditioned cabins plus modern safety, navigation and diving equipment make these vessels the superior choice amongst liveaboard dive vessels in Indonesia.

KLM Sea Safari VII
	The KLM Sea Safari VII is Indonesia's largest and most spacious luxury Phinisi liveaboard. One of the very few dive vessels in Indonesia built according to international marine class specifications, the ship spans an impressive 54 meters long and 11 meters wide providing guests with an abundance of space and luxury. The Sea Safari VII is our dedicated vessel for all scheduled cruises in the Far East of the Indonesian Archipelago including the Raja Ampat region. KLM Cheng Ho
	The Cheng Ho is named after the famous Chinese mariner, explorer, diplomat and fleet admiral who played an important part in Asia's maritime history. Years before Christopher Columbus sailed the ocean looking for a water route to Asia he was exploring the Indian Ocean and the Western Pacific. The Cheng Ho is available for group bookings (of 18 people or more) only. With a length of 49 meters, a beam of 11 meters, three decks and 13 cabins this liveaboard offers total comfort and plenty of room for even the largest group of divers.
