TAVEUNI ISLAND

Taveuni is the third largest island in Fiji and lies about 90 miles/140 km Northeast of the main island, Viti Levu. It is commonly known as “The Garden Island” thick with vegetation and resplendent with tropical flowers, coconut plantations, varied species of birds, it’s rugged, wet, verdant and pristine.

Maravu Plantation Resort

Maravu is a Fijian word meaning clam & tranquil and Maravu Plantation Resort is the perfect hideaway offering you adventure and relaxation, culture and history. Choose a spot by the pool, on the beach or in the garden to have a private moment under the stars of the Southern sky and look for the famous “Southern Cross” constellation which has guided travelers for centuries.

Each bure is well-appointed, and beautifully decorated with Fijian artwork and paintings, so feel the privacy around you as you relax in the hammock on the verandah. There are 6 Planters Bures in three Duplex Units. The rooms are completely separate with individual entrances, verandah, bathroom and just one joining wall. The Duplex units have an interconnecting facility, which is ideal for a family with children having their own room. 5 Deluxe Bure or Honeymoon Bures, each have a large private outdoor shower, indoor shower a covered verandah and open sundeck.
