Optional 6 Day Safari Package South Africa

This optional package is offered as an add-on to those dive safaris which terminate in the Cape and Kwazulu/Natal. This is to give those divers the oppportunities to experience the real Africa by spending four unforgetable days in the African bush.

Day 1:
Arrive at Johannesburg International Airport from either Cape Town or Durban and transfer to Jatinga Country Lodge outside White River, a little town on the border of the world-famous Kruger National Park. Overnight at Jatinga.

Day 2:
We enter Kruger National Park through Numbi Gate and spend the entire day viewing whilst we make our way to our overnight camp.

Day 3:
we depart camp as soon as the gates open (opening times vary throughout the year), and spend the best part of the morning game viewing and return to camp in the midmorning. We spend the heat of the day resting up in camp and head out again when it cools off. Overnight at a Kruger Park rest camp.

Day 4:
Early morning game drive and depart the Kruger National Park to reach our private camp in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, Landolozi, in time for late afternoon lunch and the evening game drive in open four wheel drive Land Rovers. Return to camp well after sunset in time for a traditional South African boma braai (barbeque).

Day 5:
Early morning game drive and bush walk in Big Five territory, i.e. lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo, under the expert guidance of an armed game tracker. The heat of the day is spent resting up in camp or sitting in a hide watching animals come down to the water hole to drink. Another unforgetable evening in the bush sipping Sundowners and returning to camp in the pitch dark, after viewing the nocturnal animals by the beam of a powerful spot light. Overnight Londolozi.

Day 6:
After the early morning game drive and brunch, we head back to Johannesburg, a journey that takes approximately five hours, for your return flight home.
