DAY 1
- Arrive Durban International airport where the Zulu Kingdom of KwaZulu-Natal awaits you

Meet your transfer to Fontana Farm, Aliwal Shoal, with it’s tranquil farm setting, complete with horses in the paddock and magnificent Indian ocean and Umkomazi river views
- Commence with the SharkLife / PADI Project Aware ocean conservation course (optional on this day )
- Unpack & rest or walk around the 100 hectare farm at leisure
- Dinner at a local restaurant

Get yourself ready to dive Aliwal Shoal, one of the most diverse dive sites in the world, where the locals say “the dive is never over until you are back on the boat”

- 07h00 Depart for tiger shark & blacktip shark dive or
- 08h00 Dive 3 Aliwal Shoal - Interact with spotted ragged tooth sharks

- 15h00 Afternoon free - horse riding an option

- 08h30 Depart Fontana Farm – Aliwal Shoal
An additional add-on can be to do an air transfer to Cape Town for great white sightings or to head up the KwaZulu-Natal north coast for superb coral reef diving and a visit to a Zulu cultural village.
NOTES:
The shark & ocean awareness courses are optional but are recommended prior to a Tiger, Blacktip or ragged tooth shark dive taking place.
The Tiger & Blacktip shark dives are seasonal and although there have been sightings until as late as July, sightings of these animals could be less or non existent over this period.
The ragged tooth shark season at ALIWAL SHOAL usually commences late June until early November
This itinerary is a suggestion only and can be tailor made to suit client’s needs & weather changes and it can be designed to include a spectacular trip to one of the main South African game reserves in Hluhluwe or Umfolozi.
Should the add-on be to Cape Town for Great White shark viewing / cage diving, an option could be to complete the SharkLife / PADI Great White shark speciality course prior to leaving for Cape Town.
