NEW BRITAIN & NEW IRELAND
The islands of New Britain and New Ireland surround
the Bismarck Sea. They are located Northeast of the island of New
Guinea and almost touch the Western end of the Solomon Islands.
NEW BRITAIN: Walindi Plantation
Walindi Plantation Resort, located on the north coast
of New Britain, in Kimbe Bay, is world renowned. Voted as
"the best land diving resort anywhere in the world".
Accommodations
are fern draped bungalows nestled amongst the rainforest along the
beachfront with private bathroom, available as single, double or
triple rooms. All meals are included and served in a garden atmosphere,
as well as complimentary laundry. Swimming pool and bar facilities.
Underwater Kimbe Bay sports an incredibly divers marine habitat,
all are pristine as they stand by their rigid policy of 'look but
don't touch'! 70% of all coral species in the Indo/Pacific region
are found in Walindi's waters. No other dive area in the world can

prime photo spots has inspired the development of Walindi Photo,

NEW IRELAND: The Malagan Lodge
The Malagan Lodge overlooks the entrance to the beautiful
quiet, scenic Kavieng Harbour on the island of New Ireland. Malagan
Lodge offers 16 deluxe a/c twin rooms with fine amenities. The resort
has a restaurant and a full bar.
ARCHIPELAGO DIVING is based in Kavieng. West
of Kavieng, betweem Kavoemg and New Hanover lies an archipelago
of islands and passages that makes for some the most exciting diving
in Papua New Guinea.
This archipelago encompasses a great variety of marine
life from pelagics to macro rarities, from an extensive range of
wreck dives to dolphin encounters.
Kavieng is noted throughout the world for its ancient
Malagan culture and the shark callers of Kontu. The unique
culture of this area has crafted carvings of highly decorated masks
that have been collectors' items since Kavieng first came in contact
with Western cultures. In WWII the Japanese occupied New Ireland
and much of this is still evident on land and beneath the sea.
Madang
The resort town of Madang is located on the east coast
of Papua New Guinea. Several dive resorts and hotels are located
in the area.
MADANG: Jais Aben Resort
Located on a peninsula some fifteen kilometers
north of Madang, Jais Aben Resort is an idyllic holiday destination.
Jais Aben is a warm friendly resort, a peaceful world of simple
pleasures filled with an informal atmosphere, good food, friendly

MADANG: Malolo Plantation Lodge
Madang is an ideal base from which to explore the
beautiful underwater world found in the warm tropical waters of
the Bismarck sea. During the day trips from the lodge, both the
experienced and novice diver can discover the wonders and hidden
treasures of the north coast by either land or boat. Malolo Plantation
lodge is secluded amidst coconut palms and only a 45 min drive along
the coast north from Madang. Originally a coconut plantation, the
lodge retains it's colonial architectural charm.
MADANG: Madang Resort Hotel
The Madang Resort Hotel has a rich and colorful history.
It is the only hotel in PNG that dates back to early German
Colonization of New Guinea. Madang Resort Hotel , is set
alongside the beautiful entrance of the Madang Harbour, overlooking
the many islands that make the harbour and it's fine waterways.
Niugini Diving Adventures is a PADI dive operation
based inside the hotel grounds offering diving in the harbour and
nearby areas.
